1. Homeopathy Kits

Having a basic homeopathy kit is the best way to make sure you have the right remedy when you need it.  But these aren’t just your standard first aid kits.  They contain remedies that can help offer at-home medical treatment for many health concerns that would otherwise require a visit to the pediatrician’s office for conventional medicine.

These kits usually contain the most commonly used remedies, which are also very versatile. Most kits have a combination of low potency and higher potency remedies.

A good, basic kit will contain options for homeopathic treatment of many common medical problems such as sore throats, otitis media ear infections),  hay fever (seasonal allergies), headache, stomach viruses, flu, and more!

Kit Option 1: Homeomart First Aid Kit

This Homeomart First Aid Kit is my very favorite kit.  I love the portability of the kit, which makes it easy to toss in a suitcase.  I also love that it contains 60 homeopathic medicines, giving me plenty of options for choosing the best remedy.  The remedies come in glass bottles, not plastic.  And you’ll also find several combo remedies in the kit, which match well with Banerji protocols for things like common colds and sinus infections.

Kit Option 2: Boiron HomeoFamily Kit

This kit is another great option from a well-known, well-trusted company in the world of Homeopathy.  Boiron is a brand that many professional homeopaths recommend.  This kit comes with a handy drawer storage box to keep your remedies organized.  It also comes with a little pamphlet guide to help you know what each remedy is for.  Another perk of Boiron homeopathic remedies is the cap dispenser that helps you get the correct number of pellets at a time.  However, I should point out that Boiron remedies come in plastic tubes.

Helios Homeopathy is another trusted brand.  It contains 36 remedies that come in a hard-sided carrying case.  It also comes with an information booklet that helps you match a physical symptom to the correct homeopathic remedy.

2. Homeopathy Books and Resources

Book 1: Homeopathic Medicine for Children and Infants by: Dana Ullman

This book is the most user-friendly one I’ve found.  It is a very practical guide to help a newbie find the right remedy to match most childhood illness symptoms. From coughs, to rashes, to headaches and stomachaches.  It covers the basics in an easy-to-use way.  When I travel, this is the only book I take with me.  It’s THAT good!

Book 2: Materia Medica by: Dr. S.R. Phatak

Anyone who is serious about homeopathy will need to own a Materia Medica and its companion, a Repertory.  These two books work as a team to help you find the best remedy for your health condition.  The Repertory is organized by body part and symptom to help you find remedy options.  The Materia Medica paints very clear symptom pictures associated with each remedy.  Together, these 2 books offer a complete guide to possible homeopathic remedies.

While there are various versions of the Materia Medica and Repertory, these are my favorite.  While they still take a classical homeopathy approach, they are a little more of a modern homeopathy in their presentation.

Book 3: A Concise Repertory of Homeopathic Medicines by: Dr. S.R. Phatak

As I mentioned above, the Materia Medica and Repertory work together as a team.  You really need the pair of books to do the job!

Book 4: The Banerji Protocols by: Prasanta Banerji & Pratip Banerji

This book uses practical homeopathy, which is protocol-based.  You’ll find many chronic diseases (even cancer!) in this book along with many acute issues.  The authors have even included many of their clinical trials using homeopathic protocols to treat illnesses.

The book’s quality is great, and it is organized with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line remedies, which makes it easy to navigate through the doctors’ recommendations.  It is a great resource for anyone who really wants to find proven effective ways to stick with alternative medicine.

Final Recommendations

I’ve included Amazon links for all of these recommendations because everybody loves fast delivery time and free standard shipping!  However, you can definitely purchase these items directly from the manufacturers if you prefer.

I simply can’t stress the importance of having what you need on-hand BEFORE you need it.  It is the secret to successfully treating your family and keeping them out of the doctor’s office.

Stocking up on a few resources really is a gift for the whole family.
